It is constructed in a pure Gothic style. Odense is known as the city of birth of the world famous fairy tale writer Hans Christian Andersen. A visit to his museum is a must. Odense also boasts a large number and wide range of museums of international and regional interest, including everything from traditional Danish art at the Funen Art Museum to international art and photo exhibitions at Brandts Klaedefabrik.
